Hi! My name is Matthew Hamm, and I have been at Grace for the last 5 years! My family for generations on both sides has been Christian and I believe that the experience of being surrounded by people who believe so strongly in Christ has been the main factor of my life. But the overwhelming amount of Christian influence throughout my life resulted in a superficial faith until I began to grow myself. I love the verse Romans 12:1 because of the explanation of giving your life as a holy sacrifice being the only reasonable response to God’s grace for us. For the last several years I have gone to SALT, a summer camp, and I believe that God takes the opportunity of a trip to speak to you and that is why I believe that a mission trip would be even more influential towards my faith. I want to submit my everything to God and I hope that I can do so for now and until I die.
